University Graduation
Feb 06, 2019 at 12:12 PM

I'm in my final semester of university, which means that I get to start looking for a job. I'm worried about working full time as I seem to get sick quite often. I was wondering if anyone has any advice for working full time?

Work until CF stops you. Go for it. Get out there and try life. If your CF sucks, then try part time. Until you try, you will always be wondering if you COULD have done it.

Hi Victoria,
I'm a few months late to this question, but I suppose we are right around graduation by now!
I'm a 29 year old lawyer and health care consultant. I think, depending on what you are interested in, you may be able to get a full time job that is accommodating or has enough flexibility built in that being sick might not be a problem.
I wholeheartedly agree with Lori and if you've got a goal or a plan or a dream, you should try it out and shoot for full time!
Personally, I work full time but my job also offers flexibility through telework and a flexible schedule that allows me to keep going even when sick.
